Flexible Use

Created from Lived Experience

Written by a survivor who understands the complexity of holding both trauma and pride, this series can be used on its own or alongside professional support.

Most recovery resources
were never written with LGBTQIA+ people in mind

They can be useful, up to a point. But when the harm is tied to family rejection, identity-based shame, or minority stress, those tools often ask you to translate your life into someone else’s framework before you can even begin.

Unbroken Pride was created to close that gap.

We deserve resources that see us clearly.

We deserve to reclaim our stories without having to translate them first.

And we deserve to move toward pride on our own terms.

This is a survivor-led series of self-help guides with dedicated editions for Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans and Queer readers. Each one offers practical tools for safety, emotional regulation, cognitive reframing, narrative work, and the rebuilding of pride and connection at a gentle, self-paced rhythm.

Your identity is not the problem.

It never was.

About the series

Unbroken Pride is a series of survivor-led guides created for LGBTQIA+ adults navigating the long-term impacts of childhood harm, family rejection, and minority stress.

Each edition is written specifically for its readers:

  • Lesbian Edition
  • Gay Edition
  • Bi Edition
  • Trans Edition
  • Queer Edition

The series moves through safety and grounding, working with difficult emotions, reframing old beliefs, telling your story, and rebuilding a sense of pride, connection, and self-trust.

It is designed to be used on its own or alongside professional support.

Unbroken Pride does not ask you to leave any part of yourself outside the process.

Accessibility / Inclusion

Unbroken Pride is written for LGBTQIA+ adults across diverse experiences of identity, embodiment, and access. Move through the material in the way that works best for you.

Why separate editions?

Identity-specific harm shapes experience in particular ways.

Lesbophobia is not the same as biphobia.
Transphobia is not the same as homophobia.
Erasure and invalidation land differently depending on who you are and how the world has responded to you.

Separate editions allow the language, examples, and framing to remain accurate without forcing everyone into one generic version.

About Unbroken Pride

Unbroken Pride exists because too many LGBTQIA+ people have had to recover inside systems that never fully saw them.

Most mainstream tools can be useful up to a point. But when the harm is shaped by family rejection, identity-based shame, or minority stress, those tools often require extra labour. People are asked to translate their experiences into frameworks that treat identity as background rather than as the terrain where the damage happened.

That quiet mismatch is familiar to a lot of us.

Unbroken Pride was created in response to it.

This is a survivor-led series of self-help guides for LGBTQIA+ adults, with dedicated editions for Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans and Queer readers. Each edition offers practical tools for safety, emotional regulation, cognitive reframing, narrative work, and the rebuilding of pride and connection. The pace is deliberately gentle. The framing is deliberately affirming.

The series does not claim to replace therapy. It does not claim to be complete. What it offers is recognition, structure, and a starting point that does not ask you to leave parts of yourself outside the process.

"I wanted resources that started from the assumption that identity was not the problem."
